- March 1st Monday The city will resume its curbside yard waste pickup. A 96-gallon green yard waste cart can be filled with grass, leaves, pine needles, pine cones, etc. and you can put the carts out the same day your garbage and recycling bin is hauled. -March 5th- First Friday Art Walk. From the Spokane Arts Commission: “March First Friday will take place Friday, March 5th from 5-8pm (unless otherwise noted).
