While the big event this weekend will be Bloomsday, we cannot forget that we are about to hit the 40th Anniversary of the 1974 Expo. If you would like to celebrate the anniversary, the Spokane Convention Center will be hosting an exhibit (and gala) on Saturday, May 3 starting at noon (while the gala starts at 6pm). It is only $4 to get in and take a peak at the exhibit. For more information call 279-7000. And when you’re done at the exhibit, head over to City Hall and check out the new City Hall Plaza and revitalized Huntington Park.
